Leading Stem Cell Company to Strengthen Leadership in Biotech Industry

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–StemSave(TM), Inc., a market leader in the field of stem cell recovery and cryo-preservation, announces today that S. Christopher Theodoros has joined its senior management team. Theodoros, recently Director of Industry Relations for Google, Inc., will be responsible for leading StemSave’s growth and leadership in the biotech field as well as spearheading innovative digital marketing efforts.

“Chris joins at a crucial time for StemSave as we’re seeing renewed interest and investment from the Obama administration and heightened interest and investment from the private sector in the field of stem cell research,” said Art Greco, CEO of StemSave. “Stem cell research, technology and medicine are advancing at an exponential pace and StemSave gives people the ability to tap into those innovations by providing an affordable and non-invasive method for the recovery and cryo-preservation of the powerful adult stem cells found in teeth by teaming up with dentists to recover stem cells during routine dental procedures. Chris brings a level of expertise and insight from growing early stage companies that will help lead StemSave’s ramp up during these exciting times where StemSave makes it possible for anyone with access to a dentist to have the ability to procure their own stem cells for use in future regenerative medical therapies.”

Theodoros has been an innovative leader in the Interactive Advertising world for over fourteen years. As a Director of Google, Inc. for the past seven years, he was first responsible for building Google’s national advertising agency channel where he developed and implemented successful leadership, processes, policy, training and account management infrastructures. In his current role at Google, he was the key liaison with major advertising organizations such as the ANA, AAAA, DMA, TvB, CAB, AAF and The Ad Council.

Theodoros currently serves on the Boards of the International Advertising Association and the Advertising Educational Foundation and has chaired the Search Committee for the Interactive Advertising Bureau, and the Hall of Achievement for the American Advertising Federation. He also serves on the faculty of Upstream Habitat.

Prior to Google, Theodoros played a critical role in building DoubleClick, the first Interactive Advertising Network. As only the eighth employee of DoubleClick, Theodoros proved consistently innovative, delivering new advertising models and programs to employees and customers in eighteen countries across Europe, South America and Asia while serving the company in NY, London and Sydney. Prior to DoubleClick, Theodoros was VP of the Radio Division at the Katz Media Group (now a division of Clear Channel Communications) where he helped create Katz Television, Cable and Radio’s first Internet strategy in 1994.

“I am excited to foster the company’s growth and to raise awareness about the wisdom and value of recovering and banking your own stem cells,” said Theodoros. “Stem cell technology is advancing at a rapid rate and no longer the stuff of science fiction, but rather a critical medical resource. StemSave provides individuals and families with an affordable, secure and non-invasive methodology for banking their own stem cells.”

Stem cells are the basis for the emerging field of Regenerative Medicine. Currently, scientists from around the world are engaged in the clinical application of stem cells and therapies to treat a wide variety of disease and trauma. The recent discovery that stem cells exist in teeth has the potential to transform dentistry and the future of medical treatments. StemSave’s patented technology turns routine trips to the dentist into potentially life-saving experiences.
